Introduction Of gyratory swing vibration screen

The clay-stone separation screen, also known as a mud-stone separator, soil-rock screening machine, or multi-stage linkage roller screen, is a primary pre-screening equipment specifically designed for the mining and aggregate industries. Its primary function is the efficient separation of clay from ore. Unlike traditional vibrating screens or trommel screens, which rely on vibration or rolling principles for separation, this machine utilizes a specialized multi-axis linkage disc structure combined with a vibration system. This design enables it to rapidly process raw mineral materials with high clay content, thereby significantly boosting the efficiency of subsequent mineral processing stages. Commonly deployed in the preliminary processing stages of aggregate production and mineral beneficiation plants, it effectively resolves the persistent issue of screen clogging often encountered when screening wet, sticky materials.

Engineered for exceptional durability, longevity, and minimal maintenance requirements, this clay-stone Separator is widely utilized in aggregate production plants, metal ore pre-processing facilities, and construction waste recycling operations. It is particularly adept at overcoming the common limitations of traditional screening equipment—specifically, susceptibility to clogging and low processing throughput. The clay-stone separation screen employs a dry screening principle, enabling the efficient separation of ore from clay impurities without the need for water. This not only meets the operational demands of mining regions facing water scarcity but also prevents the loss of valuable minerals, while simultaneously complying with current environmental regulations regarding zero wastewater discharge. Furthermore, the JXSC clay-stone separation screen offers customization options—including adjustable length (by varying the number of rollers)—and can be configured with a stepped deck design or mounted on tires for mobile operation.

principle & structure Of Clay-Stone Separation Screen

Working Principle

The mud and stone separator uses a motor to drive an eccentric block to generate high-frequency vibration, causing the material to move in a throwing motion on the screen surface. Due to their high moisture content and fine particle size, clay particles pass through the screen apertures and fall into a lower collection trough. Conversely, larger ore particles are conveyed forward along the screen surface, thereby achieving automatic separation. The specially designed screen features a stepped or multi-layered structure; by adjusting the inclination angle and vibration amplitude, the machine can effectively process materials of varying moisture levels and viscosities.

Structural Features

  • Modular Screen: Constructed from high-strength welded steel plates, it offers exceptional impact resistance and structural rigidity, capable of withstanding repeated impacts from large stones.
  • Customizable Screen Gap Specifications: The spacing between the rollers can be tailored to meet the user’s specific separation requirements; the adjustable range accommodates diverse needs for separation and classification across various particle size thresholds.
  • Anti-Clogging Design: The disc-shaped screen continuously agitates the material during rotation, preventing wet or sticky substances from adhering to the screen surface and causing blockages, thereby eliminating the need for frequent shutdowns for cleaning.
  • Variable Frequency Control System: Users can flexibly adjust the roller rotation speed—based on the moisture content, mud content, and particle size distribution of the material being processed—to optimize separation efficiency.
  • Wear-Resistant Materials: The screen plates are fabricated from high-manganese steel or polyurethane to ensure an extended service life.
  • Highly Wear-Resistant Screen Discs: Produced from thickened cast high-manganese steel or via a ceramic-coating process, these discs exhibit superior abrasion resistance.
